MOKI (“MOKI”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides a digital puppy care, training and education service.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and share personal information when you use MOKI.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use MOKI, we may collect account information such as your email address, first name, account identifiers and authentication information.

We may collect puppy information including puppy name, age or birth date, breed, expected size, home and routine information, and puppy-related preferences or challenges you provide.

We may process progress and activity information including training progress, completed activities, puppy experiences, challenges and other progress information generated through your use of MOKI.

For purchases, we may process purchase status, amount, currency, Stripe customer, checkout and payment identifiers, and purchase or refund information.

Payment card details are processed by our payment provider and are not intended to be stored by MOKI.

Subject to applicable law and your consent where required, we may also process technical and usage information such as device and browser information, IP address and approximate location, pages or screens viewed, interactions with MOKI, referring pages, advertising campaign information, analytics information and advertising identifiers.

How we use information

We may use information to create and maintain accounts, personalize MOKI, save progress, provide service functionality, process purchases and lifetime access, provide support, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, improve MOKI, understand usage, measure advertising performance, and comply with legal and accounting obligations.

Legal bases

Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we process personal information using appropriate legal bases including performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests and consent.

Analytics and advertising

Subject to consent where required, MOKI may use Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Meta advertising technologies and TikTok advertising technologies.

These services may process device, browser, interaction, advertising and related information for analytics, advertising measurement and campaign purposes.

Where consent is required, non-essential analytics and marketing technologies will not be activated until the user makes a choice.

Users can later change their choices through Cookie Settings.

Service providers

We may use third-party service providers for database and authentication infrastructure, hosting, payments, analytics, advertising measurement, security and technical operations.

These providers may include Supabase, Stripe, Google, Meta and TikTok depending on the services enabled.

Some providers may process information outside the user's country. Where required, appropriate safeguards for international transfers will be used.

Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law.

When an account is deleted, account-specific puppy information and progress are intended to be deleted.

Certain limited transaction, payment, refund, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention or legal records may be retained where necessary to comply with legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Your rights

Depending on location, users may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of personal information, receive portable copies of certain information, withdraw consent and complain to an applicable data protection authority.

You can also request deletion of your MOKI account.

Children

MOKI is intended for adults responsible for the care of a puppy and is not intended to be used independently by children.

We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information directly from children.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version and effective date will be available through MOKI.
